That is stupid! You would have to wash regular clothes anyway, and wearing the uniform is part of the job. Get over it or leave. Go ahead, try to bill them, see how long your job lasts then!

Hello!!!! What would you wear to work if they didn't give you uniforms??? What a little passive/aggressive rat you are! They are giving you something to wear and only asking you to wash your filth out of it, and you think you should charge them for washing the dirt you got on it out??? How much money and time do you save by not having to provide your own clothes? You are clearly not doing them a favor by working for them, so perhaps you'd like to trade prison stripes for the paycheck. Then you wouldn' t have to worry about them making you wash the clothes they give you ( or paying rent or buying groceries). By the way, providing you with a uniform is an expense for them. They don't come free! Get a little respect for your self and quit acting so immaturely.

Just do some simple market research: Call local dry cleaners and inquire about shirt laundering prices. As for the storage fee, you can do the same thing by getting pricing on comparitive spaces (ex: same size)

It would be interesting to try but as it's unlikely to be part of your employment contract - and your employee guidelines would call you out of luck, unless you come into contact with something extrodinary in the course of work, you're unlikely to prevail.

Depending on your average load of laundry, it likely costs pennies each time you wash and dry them.

Hahaha. Surely you are joking. You're lucky they don't charge you for your uniforms.

Maybe you would rather have to buy them yourself. You can deduct those expenses on your income tax. . .
