No player have ever been involved, no one player was ever even been suspected to be involved! Fault felt all on some specific people in management, and sonia's right: four team from Serie A have been punished; and as said yet: what about French, Brazilian, etc players who played (and almost all, still playing) for those team...? Emerson, Trezeguet, Kaka, Dida, Vieira... we're talking about at least a dozen people. France and Brazil should've been banned? And if not why, since you seems blaming the players of those teams...?

Both teams were American - Chicago White Sox (AL) vs Cincinnati Reds (NL). There were no Canadian teams until 1969 (Montreal). None in the World Series until 1992 (Toronto).
