I'm guessing that the answer to this question is going to be a no, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to smooth out a 6 inch circumference area of paint on a car that has begun to bubble. The paint is only 9 months old, but I believe the man who painted it slapped it together quick and threw all sense of quality out the window. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

take it back to where you had it painted and show them and if they are reputable they will repaint the area for you, I had the same problem and they are going to fix it, the painter said it was hot the day when he painted it and it could be a drop of sweat on the body from when he was painting that he didn't see.

Sounds like he didn't prep that area well and the paint is lifting because there's no good bond to the primer or metal....best to have that area prepped and repainted again properly....no easy solution that is correct. May happen to other areas also if the prep work for the rest of the car was poor or had contamination on the car.
