I need to call a cell phone in germany....they have o2 telefonica...do they geta different area code than everyone else???
is a berlin cell phone

For Germany, regular phone or mobile u have to dial 00 49 and then the telophone number

The international code for Germany is +49, so from the US you dial 01149, from most Europaen countries 0049, then followed by the number - BUT do not dial the first 0, so not i.e. 0170... or 0162..., but simply 170 or 162.

You dial 011, drop the "0" in the city code on their phone, and then dial the rest of the number. That should work.
