Change 3 4/5 to an improper fraction = 5 x 3 + 4 = 19/5

2/7 x 19/5
Multiply the numerators of the fractions to get the new numerator. 2 x 19 = 38
Multiply the denominators of the fractions to get the new denominator. 7 x 5 = 35

ANSWER: 38/35 or 1 3/35

I would change 3 4/5 to an improper fraction, 19/5. Then I'd just multiply it and get 38/35, or 1 3/35. I think that's right.
