I believe counselors helps us by having an opened ear. These are strangers to us so it's OK if we share what we're feeling
9personally I don't the counselor so I feel OK talking to her because she don't know me well enough to judge me. When you're talking to anyone if your heart is in it you can find the answers to what you're looking for if you search hard enough.

counselors are amazing people. they know how to help you through all of the difficult times that life throws at you. its nice to have someone to talk to about stuff that isnt involved in it in any way, they give you a nonjudgemental opinion about things.

i myself have suffered with ADD, anxiety, depression, and PTS. i have really learned to like my counselors that i have seen. i dont know where i would be without them.

if you are contemplating about seeing one, i would definatly do so. you have nothing to lose, but a lot to gain. it can be a huge help with what ever you are dealing with. i am always here if you would like someone to talk to about anything, i have been through a lot. feel free to email me. i wish you the best of luck

I think of it this way. You are standing in a dark room full of snakes. I, as a counselor, turn the light on so you can see where those snakes are and react. Then you can make necessary changes to survive and continue your life as best you can. I only turned the light on for you.
