It was a VERY dumb idea by Trent Green. I don't think it's right to say "he got what he deserved" because he was just trying to help out his team. I also think Travis Johnson was completely out of line to taunt him after he lay there motionless. And then after the game to to complain about how he shouldn't block him?

first of all if a defensive player hit any quarterback below the knees like trent green hit johnson yesturday he would have gotten a 15 yard penalty and a big fine so why is it ok for a qb to hit a defensive player below the knees.johnson had every right to yell at trent green because johnson could have lost not only his knees but his head and neck as well since he went head over heels and landed on his head.

It was a dirty hit, but he was at the wrong place at the wrong time. Nobody deserves to leave the field on a stretcher no matter what, and both Travis Johnson and Green were in the wrong. Both teams just need to move on and hopefully not waste any more time bickering about it.

That's stupid! He dove low to not get killed by Johnsons big ***, even so, it's even dirtier for Travis Johnson who is twice the size of Green to stand over an unconcious man and talk junk... Thats unsportsmanlike and completely uncalled for, and then to rant about it in an interview, who is Travis Johnson anyways? A nobody... I hope he gets fined for it, so he'll get what he deserves in return...

no he didn't deserve it because he was trying to help the fins and trying to get there first win of the season. I am a Jets fan and love to see dolphins injured but he didn't deserve it and i think Johnson should be done for the year for what he did after the play

The guy isn't paid to block. He tried to block and take the guys legs out, it had nothing to do with his knees.

Uh...No...I think the lineman should get fined and suspended...Looked to me like Green slipped...not like he was trying to lay a block on the lineman...
