Do you think the crime rate in USA is caused equally by all sorts of races or is there a race that causes most

Just wondering about this as I just finished watching the news. I think I know the answer but wanna find out if there's actually a site somewhere online that supports that answer (real statistics on this). I wish there was a way to do away with all crime not just in America but all over the world. Watching the news depresses me sometimes. So I try not to do it very often. :( sigh

Crimes are comitted all the time by people of all races. and no one can tell you who has the lead in that one. you have people in white collar crimes that never get caught. and the others on the street that don`t get caught. so who really knows.

I think all the races have a hand in the crime rate. I think economic status is a bigger factor than race. A person is more likely to commit robbery, sell drugs, resort to prostitution and other similarly petty crimes if they're pressed against a wall and have to find a way to survive. And these are some of the easiest crimes to arrest people for. But if you get into serial killers most of them seem to be white. And the real criminals (the ones at the top screwing all the people below them, like the whole Enron situation) are the white guys running the corporations. If we worked a little harder as a nation we could help to relieve the stresses that cause people to resort to petty crime. A little equality can can go a long way.

I can't point you to facts that back this up, so research it before you take my word for it ... but whites do more 'white collar crimes', while blacks are more involved with violent crimes (especially against each other) and drug related crimes. The prisons are occupied by more blacks than any other race. Sociology is an interesting subject.

I would think that if whites were more economically in line with the blacks and other races in the USA (as far as job opportunities, personal wealth, educational ops, etc) ... it would be different (There would be more whites in the prisons). Whites can typically afford better lawyers and have a better chance at buying their way out of legal woes while blacks and other races are stuck w/o that and have to due the time. IT's not fair, but it's not an easy thing to fix. It starts with grass roots efforts in education & career ops

What you are thinking is probably right. The news depresses me as well and sometimes I just turn it off. But, then again, the news does not report all the crimes as it would be impossible. I do sometimes wonder if the media is reporting the black race crimes more than the white!...

It does not matter if a Crime is committed by a certain Race or not. A crime is a Crime no matter who commits it, and I do not think that certain races are at fault here, it is the People who thinks they are better than the ones they Kill, How I wish that God would stop all this defenseless Killings, and the ones responsible would go to Hell. I am an Hispanic woman, My grandson was Murdered by Men, who thought they are superior and can end a Life as if they were Animals. He was Killed by order of the Ministerial Police, in Laredo tamaulipas Mexico, My Grandson never set foot in Mexico, but for that onetime, how I wish he had not gone there. We all, are American Citizens.

You should look at the DOJ and FBI websites. You will see that the difference in crime rates between blacks and whites is, statistically, insignificant contrary to popular belief.

To get an accurate picture, you should probably not just look at race but also look at types of crime, economic status for all races, etc.

It's not rude to state facts. It's obvious that you all want to say that blacks commit more crimes and, if you have the facts to back that up (I don't know how you can but maybe you more updated material than I have), there's no way that anyone but the unpardonably ignorant could take offense. The truth is the truth. If, however, you're simply pontificating and lack the resources to back up your assertions, you're probably right to keep it to yourselves.

Its true that the crimes all over the world is caused by all sorts of races, but also there are races cause the most. I have statics about these crimes, I wish If I could tell you the races caused crimes the most, but this would be rude.
One thing I can tell you is 90 % of the crimes cause of poverty.

I think WHITES cause the most crime 9-11 and Hurricane Katrina were the BIGGEST CRIMES OF THIS DECADE. And whites get away like always. Big Corps. Are some of the BIGGEST CRIMINALS I KNOW. They OWN the media, oil tycoons didn't get rich legally they had to screw some people.

Blacks commit petty crime, mostly against one another, whereas whites commit crimes that affect the WHOLE NATION, not just blacks and other minorities but middle class and lower whites as well.

Don't believe statistics, they are lies, many cops don't even record arrest they make of whites, and if they do sometimes they put them as a minority(unless it's something major)

agree with "tanzer360", but also remember that blacks have been victims of unjust prejudice from the law, since a really long time. So although there were as many white who commited crimes as blacks, we were more rigorously tried for the crimes than the whites (and sadly this still happens today & has to be stopped)

As you can see, blacks are behind a disproportionate amount of crimes in everything but driving under the influence, liquor laws, and drunkenness. All that talk of whites doing white collar crimes? Blacks do more than their fair share of fraud, embezzelment, and forgery and counterfeiting, too.

Some people talk about poverty as an excuse, but all of these rappers and NBA/NFL sports stars that get arrested aren't poor, are they?
