My favorite Arabic novel is Radwa Ashour's Granada Trilogy. It's so beautiful, and simultaneously heart breaking. If you take a closer look at it, it could be describing our modern history and what is happening in the Arab world today, not just in Andalusia long ago. Seems we never learn from history!
I just finished reading Taxi a couple of days ago. Very interesting and entertaining book. It makes me rethink my policy of never talking to the taxi drivers! lol

The ever best Arabic book i've ever read was "Around the world in 200 days" for my favourite writer Anis Mansour.

i like most of " Tawfik Elhakeem" books especially
3awdat elroo7( reincarnation) and (3asfour men elsharq)A bird from the orient''. I also used to read for Mostafa Mahmoud AND I LOVE Farouk Gweda's poetry." the only arabic book i took abroad with me (besides qur'an) was his".

and also English Novel called: Journey to the centre of the earth .. and Chain of Anger (عÙاÙÙد اÙغضب ) ...

the book : ''al sagena'' by maleka ofkeer [ the prisoner ] it's a wonderful heartbreaking true story .
I heard about the other books so many times , and I'm intending to buy them in a while .
now recommend 10 novels written in English .
