Depends on your definition. The equator passes through South America and Africa. It also passes through the Indonesian islands of Sumatra and Borneo, as well as some smaller ones. Indonesia is generally considered to be Southeast Asian, but is pretty much equidistant from the asian and australian mainlands. So by continent do you mean the main body of land, or do you include the hundreds of islands between the two continents.
