How much do celebrities get in residuals for television shows?

Much depends on the contract that was signed by the actor/actress in question. Actors/actresses also get residuals for commercials; again, depends on what was agreed upon at the outset.

If a particular show made someone a star, residuals would definitely become a matter for negotiation when that contract comes up for renewal.

If there is some basic, SAG-stipulated minimal residual formula, I would be interested in knowing that.
