I have a music competition in November that I'm preparing for. Not many people have faith in me and other people around me are getting more support.
I need some encouragement. I know I can do it, I just need some kind words.

Don't compare yourself to others, or to what they have & you don't. Dig from within to find what you need, prepare & practice. Do your best. If you make a mistake, forgive yourself quickly & move on. Sometimes the ones who appearingly have the least are the ones who come out on the very top. ;D You'll do just fine!

even if you don't get encouragement from others, you keep PERSERVERING for your own personal self-satisfaction. Do not look to others for compliments; just know that we are all special in the eyes of God and HE wants to see us succeed.
Whatever the outcome is, give it best and be content with that. good luck

you may have better support from within than most people, and for that you are lucky. sounds like more support may come from others, and you may need a diff support group. tell those around you that you notice others getting more support and it makes you feel a tiny bit jealous...just be honest...the better your feedback to the "supporters", the better the outcome....
