The guy is probably thinking as often as possible
The gal is probably thinking, 'when am I ovulating'
It only takes one time to get pregnant - the whole question of quality over quantity

The best bet is to do it every other night around the time of ovulation and up to 3 dpo. Mostly just because sometimes the man might not have enough sperm to go around.

As often as possible. Usually at least once a day, maybe more on the most fertile days.
