Hi.
No pencil skirts are in style but you may like to try them with flat shoes as well as heels. Many shops don't sell these at the moment as they are bringing in their winter stock. You should be able to find them back on sale in spring. If you cant wait until them why not have a look online. Im sure debenhams online , ebay etc. will have some for sale.

I wear pencil skirts and heels to work almost every day. Most of mine are from Next, Principles, or from the designers at Debenhams range, particularly Jasper Conran. Austin Reed have some beautiful skirt suits on their website, but they are a little pricey. Pilot used to sell pencil skirts as well.

The classic black skirt never goes out of style...you probably have to look more upscale womens selections to find a good one...sach's or such...maybe macy's

Old Navy has some cute pencil skirts!! Try boden for heels - they have super cute ones!!

The fashion industry is profitable because it wants you to buy something new ALL the time. If you find classic clothes that look good all the time...... People would have no excuse to fly to Paris to see the next collection.

These are considered Classics and although they may not be fashionable all the time, they are still available in higher end stores and tailoring shops.
