I just received the edger, but it's missing a spark plug and can't find which to use. Sears is no help other than order it from them.

You need a Champion RCJ8Y, or a CJ8Y. Either one will work.
They can be found almost anywhere mower parts are sold. IE Lowes, Home Depot, Walmart, Ace Hardware, Autozone, Advance, etc. This is good for spark plugs only though.

Enter your model # 35877310 (you had too many zeros)
It will show you schematic diagrams of your machine and list part numbers!

Just type in Sears and go in under lawn tracter and type in the model number. They will be glad to send you another owners manual, might cost you alittle but it will be worth it.

Check the engine manufactor's website. You may be able to get a manual.
