My company currently has cameras in our show room, just for security purposes. After much consideration, we have decided we would like to set them up to give us a live feed on our website, so a customer could view the showroom and whatever rug (s) we put in view of the camera. My problem is .. i have no idea where to even begin. I am a graphic designer and i can do the html of the page and all that .. But in terms of software we'd need, hardware we'd need, other coding ... etc... any suggestions?

You would just need to create a wireless network and have wireless cameras, and a dedicated computer running the software that comes with the cameras and a dedicated internet connection connected to that computer.

Here is all the software and hardware you would need.
