I have getting this quite a lot recently but on transits, and it has been the central locking that has been faulty and the number plate lights. I suspect some one has cut the wiring to the rear of the van trying to break into it, I hope this is not the case, or the alternative is, when loading the van you have caught the wiring harness and unplugged it, trace the wiring and hopefully you will see where it has become unplugged. If the wiring has been cut, get an auto electrician to re wire the harness and he will make a permanent job and if he can move the wires so they are a bit more difficult to gain access to. Good luck.

NO lights at all? (tail lights, backup lights, turn signals, brake lights)
The wiring harness next to the gas tank came unplugged.
Crawl under the car and look for a plastic plug with wires on it just dangling there, and plug it back in.
