In college and in high school theres always a homecoming week but why or how if they have had home games before homecoming week

just to add color to the festive activities in the campus for the homecoming week...

home coming games in general are sell outs and against the teams that can be beaten easily....

Its basically an alumni event...where they come back to visit the school...Hence, homecoming

Um, yeah, I wonder 'bout that too, and I think they have HighSchool/College reunions, and/or Alumni week for that.
