Yes...I worked for a really horrible person once.
He was an absolute monster...picking on people and bullying them.
One day he said 'photocopy this yer fat cow' to me. Now I don't carry a load of lard but I had just had enough. I snapped back 'Take your f**king trousers down and remind the world what small is like'. I threw my phone across the desk at him, grabbed my coat and walked out the door.
The whole office erupted with laughter. I got asked back and he never picked on me again.
But I WAS quite prepared to walk!

I got further than the door, got in the car and drove to my mothers, after an hour or so there I realised as bad as things were at home, I could never go back to my parents, so got in the car and went back again x

I actually was going to run away once when I was really mad at my grandparents. I actually got about a quarter-mile down the road (not counting their long driveway) before I got scared of being on my own, thought about how I was going to live with no money or supplies, and turned back. (Boy did I ever get yelled at!)

After several attempts I finally managed to leave a violent 10 year relationship. It wasn't easy as my son was 7 but I managed to stay strong and stay safe.
My life has been so much better ever since!

Not me, but my 4 year ols son left with a tesco carrier bag with 2 pair of pyjamas, a teddy and his blankie after he was told off. My husband followed him up the road when my son turned round and walked back again. He said he was hungry!

I got all the way across the country once, and stayed for several years. The second time I did it was when I retired. I'm a spur of the moment kind of guy.
