YES. It may take longer/be harder to conceive but it can happen. I have PCOS and my doctor told me last September that I had about a 10% chance of ever getting pregnant. I found out in November that I was pregnant and I now have a healthy little boy.

I will say though that I didn't get pregnant until I stopped drinking and smoking, cut out my caffeine, avoided high fructose corn syrup and any artificial sweeteners and ate healthy lower sodium vegetarian foods. This may be just a coincidence but I don't know. I had many times in my past where I could've gotten pregnant and I never did. I can't help but think my unhealthy choices at the time contributed to this.

Yes, PCOS can vary from mild to severe. With mild cases you may not ovulate every month, but you do sometimes, so it's all about just trying till it happens. Some women are worse off and need fertility treatments. But, it's definitely possible.

Yes you can or so I've been told. I have been diagnosed with a milder case of it but my husband has low everything with his sperm: low count, low motility, bad morphology(shape), and dna breakage. We have had to turn to the help of a reproductive endocrinologist ( fertility specialist). I just did a cycle with Femara( used to help eggs mature), Metformin( used for insulin resistance with PCOS which also aids with ovulation), HCG shot to trigger ovulation, and IUI ( intrauterine insemination). It was unsuccessful though so we will try this time doing IUI with the injectable fertility drug Follistim. Keep hope it can happen!

Yes you can. I have PCOS. But it takes quite a while (and my husband's extremely low sperm count doesn't make it easier!!!)

I've finished my Clomid for this cycle, and am going for my scan on Wednesday to see if the egg cells are mature enough. I then get my Pregnyl injection to force ovulation. (The PCOS prevents maturation of egg cells and ovulation).

Just keep faith, it is really difficult to accept, I know I keep asking why it is happening to me. And this whole thing is putting an exceptional amount of stress on my husband because he says they can do something to help me ovulate, but they can't do anything for his sperm count!

But good luck, things will come right!!! =)

Yes, but it usually takes some medical assistance. I have PCOS and had to take injectable fertility drugs to ovulate and then have an IUI to conceive.
