...your view of an actor / actress?

O Brother Where Art Thou changed my view of George Clooney forever. I will always view him as a real talent after watching that movie (about 50 times now).

On the flip side, The Score has wounded my view of Marlon Brando so badly, I don't know if I'll recover.

'Razor's Edge' with Bill Murray is one of my top 5's - fantastic movie.

"Analyze This" showed me that Robert DeNiro can actually bring off a comic role.

"The Razor's Edge" showed that Bill Murray actually IS an actor, rather than merely a comedian.

In "Evita", I was surprised that Antonio Banderas can actually sing.

For self: If you like Alan Rickman, see "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". Rickman is the voice of Marvin. Beautifully cast, IMHO.

O Brother Where Art Thou is an awesome movie with an awesome soundtrack, one of my faves actually.
I never could take Clooney seriously as Batman though ,he totally ruined the part in my opinion, but I still love him.

Lol Cody I can't take Cruise seriously ever again, what a nutter!

This is kind of shallow, but "Dream With The Fishes" changed my view of David Arquette. He is far from a great actor, but after seeing that movie, I decided that there are much worse.

Kill Bill w/Uma Thurman anything she does is great, went back and saw some of her older movies.

Scent of a Woman and Serpico changed the way I see Al Pacino. He really strummed my heart strings(not in a gay way). Also Alan Rickman, everytime I see Harry Potter and see Snape, I can't help but see Alan's character as the cold blodded killer named Hans in Die Hard. Makes me laugh so hard.

Does Tom Cruise jumping on Oprahs couch count, or the whole scientology thing? Cause damn I can never watch a movie from him again.

Charles Chaplin, in Limelight. As good in sound, as he was in silents. Then I saw The Great Dictator, and knew then I was witnessing acting genius!
