Curiosity is a survival trait that has evolved into a love for any kind of mystery. The tiniest Baby is curious to taste, touch and hear. The child evolves, via curiosity, into realms it knows exist because Adults use and speak of many mysteries. The Adults delve into mysterious areas were answers are not yet known.

Thus humankind evolves and moves forward.
