The Angels are my second favorite team and I felt bad for them. They may have fared better with the missing players but, I think the Red Sox still would have won.

No, the outcome would have been the same because Boston is just the overall better team no matter what. The games may have been closer but they still would have lost. Ervin Santana would not have helped the Angles at all because the Red Sox absolutly lit him up in the regular season, plus he just isn't the same since last year. A healthy Bartolo Colon would still have gotten the loss because he aswell isn't the same pitcher he was earlier in his career. The Red Sox are head and shoulders above the angles

There is such narrow margin between winning and losing at the MLB level that any team can beat any other in a short series. The Angels ran into a Red Sox team that played well and got great pitching from Beckett and Schilling and that was the difference. The Yankees had the same problem with Sabathia and Carmona. Good pitching can shut down good hitting.

Tough to say but I think the Red Sox would have beat anyone in that series healthy or not. They are streaking at just the right time.

Maybe, they were out of sync for some reason. I think for the most part they let the pressure get to them and were intimidated by Boston's pitchers. I think they have the ability to hit those pitchers though.

Maybe if everyone was healthy they would have had a different mind set.

maybe...but when it came down to it, the red sox pitching was to dominant and the red sox would have still won the series maybe in 4.
