I feel that when you have a good relationship with your mate you should be able to ask them anything and be your self.If you can't do that then why be with that person.

I ask my mate very little...not because he's scary or not open. But because I'm scared to get to know another after the last abusive relationship. To be ask questions you must be open about yourself...and that I'm unwilling to give. It'll probably kill this relationship as it will any other relationship until I get this resolved within and start trusting people again.

i honestly can. partially because were best friends about 6 years before i got married. he has told me everything and i have told him everything. a marriage only lasts if you have communication. i am never afraid to ask my mate a question. you shouldnt be scared if you are honest with each other from the beginning.

We respect the right of each others privacy very well, but we ask each other anything and there isn't anything I'd feel bad about telling her.
She knows me like a book.
