well thruthfully you should be able to walk the dog up until the minute you go into labour. I mean what I am saying is to continue with physical activity. But you definately should be having some help with your dog and her behavior. No dog should be allowed to disobey you are out or at home. wether it be a cat, squirel or another dog. Pulling should not be tolerated. I know right now it is hard as you are pregnant, but I definately would look into some training. for now though, try when you are out and she misbehaves to give a good hard/fast pull on the leash and very firmly Yell no. immediately make her sit or lay down. if she tries to get up, repeat the process. do this until she is calm and then continue on your way. sooner or later she will understand this behavior is not allowed. I would be taking a walking partner with you though until you feel comfortable. Dont want you to gt hurt by being pulled from the dog!
Congrats on the new baby on the way and best of luck

If your dog pulls you running after a cat to the point where you feel like you might fall, you should probably let go.
I have a HUGE dog so I know how it is. It's hard to walk a 120lb great dane, but I've been doing it throughout my pregnancy and it's the only thing that really motivates me to get off my butt and do some exercise.
It's totally safe to walk your dog as long as the dog isn't knocking you over or making you run if you don't feel comfortable running.
If you don't have one of those extend-o-leashes, maybe you should look into getting one, that way she can get a bit away from you without your heart rate jumping up.

Is there any way you could set up a dog run ( a wire stretching from two different trees with a roller you can attach the dogs leash to) or maybe you could have a male in your life walk her. Perhaps even an electric fence. If none of those options are possible, them maybe you can get a choke collar. Just be careful, I have a dog and I know how rough they can be when they want to go after something, and with a big belly your equilibrium will be off balance!

I wouldn't walk the dog much longer, but falling doesn't really increase your chance of losing the baby. You, on the other hand, could get seriously injured by being pulled by a big dog when you're balance is off because of your pregnancy.

it somewhat is recommended to envision with yet another vet or a orthopedic expert. the often used surgical treatment for dogs with elbow dysplasia is arthroscopy, this is a appropriate type of surgical treatment regarding reducing immediately into the elbow joint. not all dogs veterinarians can carry out arthroscopy, so the dogs would could be stated a various veterinarian. drugs for dogs elbow dysplasia contain the NSAID painkillers aspirin and Rimadyl and a type of arthritis medicine referred to as chondroprotectants mutually with Adequan (the type call for polysulfated glycosaminoglycan). while only utilising drugs, it may take in to a minimum of one month previously the dogs shows any sign of feeling extra clever. you additionally can use nutritional supplementations like glucosamine chondroitin sulphate which help interior the production of joint fluid. i don't comprehend approximately Adequan for dogs, even nevertheless it is been very effectively used interior the scientific care of horses. as nicely to surgical and scientific remedies, the dogs could be placed on a foodstuff plan. obese dogs can injury already complicated joints.

I had a husky type dog who pulled hard instinctively. she couldnt help herself. The vet recommended a type of lead that fits loosely around the nose. When she pulled the lead pulled her head to one side slightly and stopped her pulling. Go to the pet shop tomorrow. They dont hurt you or the dog.
Otherwise i would say stop walking the dog now or rather let someone else hold her lead.
Good luck with the baby x
