Every once in a while Rush shows his true colors. He doesn't give a damn about anyone but himself. That is why the ultra conservatives are his only followers. They feel the same way.

Not to defend Rush, but I personally care about children's health care. I have two small children and my wife works at an inner city school filled with impoverished children. Even still, I don't believe the recent Child Health Care Bill that congress tried to pass and was vetoed, was a good idea. Unless, you consider a 25 year old a child. I know that no child now is turned away from health care, and throwing money at the problem is not the solution.

I think Rush knows just as I do that caring for these children is first and foremost the responsibility of their parents, and not the government. When the government picks up the slack for bad parenting, it only encourages bad parenting and makes the practice seem acceptable.

That is not his job, that is not my job as a tax payer, the health and upbringing of children is the job of PARENTS. If a couple can not accept that responsibility or can not afford that oppurtunity, then they should not have kids, and if they do by accident they should not be so selfish to think the rest of us should foot the bill for raising them.

Who cares? The children are not Rush's problem. Or mine, for that matter. You want to start up a charity to provide health care to upper middle class kids, go ahead. But please, forcing me into it, forcing me to pay for some private school kid's health insurance is not the way to win my support.
