Obviously a strong Iowa showing would help propel him forward against his third running position between Hillary and Obama, also because he is fairly young if the Democrats would get in office he wouldn't have another chance to run for 8 years anyway.

I don't think he will be asked.

I think Hillary will ask Barack Obama to be her running mate to form an unbeatable ticket.

Maybe with John Edwards' experience as a trial lawyer he would be an excellent Attorney General (compare him to Fredo)!

It’s an interesting idea. At first glance, the answer would seem to be “no way this would happen”, largely because of Edwards already having been number two on a ticket and falling short.
But one of Hillary’s most unusual strengths is the way in which all of the skeletons in her closet have already been drudged up. . . Whitewater, Travelgate, Vince Foster, etc. In a way, she’s immune to Swiftboating, because all the things she can be attacked on are “old news”. There’s no one out there whom will be moved by these kinds of stories. She’s already been thoroughly vetted by the press and the public in her 16 years of national prominence.
John Edwards has a similar “strength”. His weaknesses and past were thoroughly dissected in 04, so there’s nothing new to dig up. As a result, a Clinton/Edwards ticket gains an odd sort of Teflon effect.
So then the question is, does Edwards ad anything to the ticket? Well, he’s certainly more photogenic then Hillary, he’s more charismatic, but at the same time has shown an ability to not draw attention away from a less charismatic running mate.
He’s a southern, protestant male, a political model that Democratic voters are comfortable with, and which might provide a sense of sub-conscious relief for any concerns related to nominating a woman for the first time.
Strange as it might sound, Clinton/Edwards might be a very strong ticket.

I firmly believe all of the Democratic candidates are not opposing Hillary as much as campaigning for a position in her administration.

That pretty boy will take anything he can get to stay on the gravy train and keep from having to work for living. If he was a woman, he would be a blond bimbo from hollywood.
