I'm not quite that bad....
2 large breed dogs
1 cat
4 parakeets
1 dove
2 bettas
And 2 kids....lol.

I make good money though. I don't understand people who get a bunch of animals who can't really afford them. That person may just barely be able to feed them, but what if one needs to go to the vet for something unexpected. That person should cut the amount of animals in at least half. It's not fair for the animals.

I have 3 dogs, 4 cats, 11 rats, 4 mice, 3 cockatiels, 4 budgies, 8 lizards, and 4 snakes. Lots of fun at my house. :P

I think it's rediculous for someone to obtain even one animal if they don't have extra time and money for it. Complaining is a whole other issue! Why would anyone complain, it's their own fault for getting the animals in the first place.

Unless people have ~extra~ time and money to spare, they simply should not even be thinking about the luxury of pets, but a better way of getting by, so that some day they can afford pets if they still want them. Someone having lots of children when they can't afford or have time for them is seen as irresponsible. Animals are not different.

Your friend sounds like a "collector".
If they cannot afford to properly take care of their animals they should find them homes. Credit will only last so long and no one person can give that many pets the care and attention they deserve.
