She is very foolish. Nobody owes her country an easy time. The UK foreign office would most likely try and beef up the paranoia among the right wing crazies in his country. See if they couldn't destabilize the place. Get their 'dirty war' going again. Difficult for them to cause a nuisance to anyone else when they are busy pulling the toenails out of their students in Naval barracks or shooting nuns and dodging carbombs.
