LSU and Cal because they are 1 and 2 respectively and without either team losing, nothing would change in the polls.

Given your scenario, LSU would be a sure bet. Cal would have a slight edge over Ohio St because the computers will reward it for having a tougher schedule.
Right now in the polls LSU is a clear number one and should stay there. Ohio St. and Cal are in a virtual tie (call it #2.5) so whoever puts on the best showing from here on out will move up to 2 in the polls. The others stand no chance in the polls unless both Cal and Ohio State win real ugly the rest of the way through because a) they are starting out behind and b) their schedules won't be preceived as being as tough.
The computers, however, make up a third of the selection process. The computers decide rankings on won-loss record and strength of schedule. The computers will probably have LSU at 1 with Cal at a close 2 going into the last week of the season, but on Dec 1, LSU will pull away by playing in the SEC title game whereas Cal will play Stanford (which may not be as bad as previously thought).
At the end of the day no one else's schedule will compare, LSU will have played 9 SEC rivals (including the SEC title game) plus Vtech and Cal will have played 9 Pac10 rivals plus Tennessee. The computers should rate SEC and the Pac10 as the the two best conferences. The computers will probably have Missouri, OSU, BC and SFla bunched closely together.
So Cal has the edge for the two slot. But it will not be easy for any team to run the table. Neither Cal, nor any of the other wanabes have shown as much as LSU. Given Cal's remaining schedule, it will be real tough for them to stay there. But LSU, which right now is playing the best football in the country, has to beat a lot of good team still. Missouri will have its hand's full. Given the remaining schedules, which are not easy for any team, a SFla v. BC or OSU is probably a better bet than Cal-LSU.
Hey, what if undefeated Kansas and UConn run the table and all of the above lose at least once. Would anyone who was not a basketball fan watch a Jayhawk-Huskie BCS game? Just a thought . . .

CAL and Lsu . LSU is not going down. becaause the SEC and PAC 10 are the strongest conference in football.. Ohio state will suffer beacause voters will have fresh in their minds the embarrassing showing in the national championship last year. Ohio state also has no one strong enough on their schedule to beat so they can pass up cal or lsu. the big 10 is down. same goes for boston college and south florida.

It would be LSU vs Cal. LSU would be a no brainer since they stared out #2 in the polls and .
Cal would get it based on strength of schedule, beating 4 top 20 teams, OSU would only beat 3 top 20 teams and Boston College 3 top. Missouri and S Florida would not even be in the discussion.

Depends on alot of things, but I'd say it'd end up being LSU vs. Cal or LSU vs. Ohio State but the other teams would gripe and this would basically mean the end of the BCS as we know it. I don't think your scenario is as likely as maybe 1 undefeated team and a bunch of one-loss teams.

Ohio State and LSU. LSU is the best team in the country with the toughest schedule. Everybody else loves Ohio State, who also happens to have the biggest fan base of any of the other schools.

Cal goes. They wouldve played and beaten higher ranked teams than the others. OSU will suffer from a down year in the Big 10. This means Cal would have wins against Tenn, Oregon, USC, Arizona St. That pretty much puts them in the game.

LSU & Cal.
Wish it would be Mizzou...makes the Big 12 look tougher, but with the 2 supposed powerhouses in the Big 12 getting beat early, the toughness credibility weakens Mizzou's chances...IF K State doesn't beat 'em

Well, it wouldn't be Ohio State if there are ANY other undefeated schools or probably even one loss schools. They showed the Big 10's true ability last year. The voters won't put up with that again.

This is where the lame BSC system comes into play and they punch in a bunch of numbers into "the" computer and out comes a pile of BS!
This is exactly why we need a playoff system in Div1A College Football!!
