My daughter's boyfriend has this on the middle finger of his right hand, over the knuckle. The Dr.'s are saying if the antiobiotics don't work they may need to amputate his finger. We don't want that to happen of course, Please help????

We have no intention of taking him off of conventional medical treatment, we want to try natural remedies along with the conventional treatment, to give him a better chance of healing.

To Soul Dr. It started from a bug bite about a week ago. It got very swollen and red, he went to Immediate care where they lanced it. Pus shot out of the wound and hit the Dr. in the face, lol. They ran a culture and started him on antibiotics, he went back today, and found out it was MRSA. They now have him on multiple antibiotics. He is in his late 20's early 30's, overall healthy, not overweight, drinks a couple beers a day, (we told him to stop while on atbx), and smokes. He works outside installing fences. Typical guy.

To Soul Dr.: Today the wound is still swollen, and open and oozing, and looks like it is getting black around the edges. I suspect that it's necrotic. I don't think he knows what kind of bug bit him.

Can you please give symptoms and details of the infection and specially about the patient himself. I don't need the doctors diagnosis, I need to know what the patient is going through preferably in his own words. Homeopathy treats the patient not the disease. post the symptoms and i will be glad to help.

Edit :-
Give him these Homeopathic Remedies together ARNICA MONTANA 200 + LEDUM PAL 200 + NATRIUM MUR 200 Three times today at an hours interval and and after that just once a day till he is 100% well. The above prescription is extremely helpful in the bites of all poisnous insects and serpents in case of snake bites anti venom should be used as soon as possible. This is a tried and tested prescription and has never failed me where poisonous bites are concerned. Update me about his progress after the first three doses, please add the update to this question of yours for the sake of the nay sayers who have given me the Thumbs Down for a perfect answer may God Bless them with the wisdom to acknowledge the truth when they see it. Amen :o)

Take Care and God Bless.

I have found that soaking the hand in epsom salts and water as hot as you can stand to stick your hand in helps draw the infection out. But if we are talking blood poison and gangrene then this may not be a posible solution. I have had success with boils using the above soak. I have also used tea tree oil on a guaze pad until the puss drains out the continuous flushing with warm water and antibacterial soap for about 30 mins. Then a repetition of that every 2 or 3 hours until no more puss builds up.

The Dr has a special group of antibiotics that work well on MRSA Staph infection. I understand your concern However do give the antibiotic regimen that is prescribed a chance. You can have the Manuka honey and the byproducts later if you think they are necessary

Look into manuka honey applied topically. Take a look at http://www.manukahoney.co.uk/

Manuka honey helps the body fight many different infections and MRSA is one listed. It is certainly worth looking into. You can purchase it in some grocery chains. If not there, than of course Henry's or Trader Joe's would have it.
Hope this helps. Good luck. ; )

Sounds like a brown recluse spider bite. It eats away at the flesh and it's found commonly around wood piles. Please let the doctor know this.
