I know that there are many more romantic places on Earth, but for me, Downtown Salt Lake City, Utah. I am a Mormon, so, it is a Mecca for me and my girlfriend. For Mormons, nothing is more romantic than dinner at The Roof Restaurant high atop the Joseph Smith Building overlooking the beautiful Salt Lake Temple, followed by a stroll through beautiful Temple Square and an evening of Opera, Ballet, Theatre or Symphony at Abravanel Hall. Top that off with a carriage ride through the old part of town, after that, she will be putty in your hands! A close second for me is the Riverwalk in San Antonio, Texas at Christmas time! Sigh!

San Simeon, Ca. Heart Castle, just the whole town. Yes it was in a way my heaven, that's where I had my honeymoon. I have been there since that time, and it is still the most romantic place I have ever been to.

My husband had a business trip to Kauai, we stayed in a Junior Suite at the Princeville Inn overlooking the mountain where South Pacific was filmed (Bali Hai) That was 8 years ago, but the nights were so starry, and our room was on the beach, we could fall asleep to the ocean sounds, we had a jacuzzi in the room. If it wasn't for his boss paying for that room, we never could have gotten it. I almost wouldn't want to go back, because we can't duplicate that and it would be a disappointment, kinda.

Anywhere where the object of my affection reciprocates it back to me similarly without question, requirement or demand - Hawaii, Philippines, Okinawa, Albuquerque were some places where this happened in the past -- most often it involved spontaneous travel over various modes to never before visited places.

A gazebo in a hot tub and it was snowing with huge flakes and we were getting drinks delivered to us.
This wasn't Colorado or mountains anywhere but get this:
The Elms in Excelsior Springs MO.
Also that ranks right up there
Ship Island at sunset off Gulfport Mississippi

The Pont Alexandre II bridge, in Paris at Sunrise. Perfect weather. Quiet morning. Amazing sunrise! Great guy, whispering to me in French!
The bridge itself is the one you see in a lot of make-up and fragrance adverts. Wildly ornate, and romantic looking with a great view of the Eiffel Tower and all of Paris! I was kissed on that bridge, that morning.

The night my husband (then my boyfriend) took me for a surprise valentine's night at a suite at the Ritz in London. Staff took my small overnight bag and started hanging up the clothes for me and setting out my toiletries. Another member of staff came and said my boyfriend had asked for a bath to be run for me and what temperature would I like it!!! They put in Bulgari bubble bath and heated up the marble floor for me. I drank Champagne in the bath. Then a huge bouquet of red roses arrived at the door. My most memorable bit was getting out of bed in the middle of the night while my boyfriend was sleeping and going into the living room, eating strawberries from the bowl on the floor in a huge fluffy dressing gown reading one of the magazines they had laid out and just lying there in perfect bliss! Yet more flowers arrived for me when I got to work the next day and I couldn't stop smiling for days!

A tiny cottage halfway up a mountain in Dyserth, North wales.
It had it's own private road, up to it and was painted white, with pale blue woodwork and roses, on a pale blue trellis, round the door.
My Wife and I lived in it for one week, 52 years ago.(Honeymoon). We have been back, several times since and it still retains it's magic.
