It was for me!!! Did it up to about age 9-10, about that age I got much, much better at not upsetting him enough to do it. After that it was just plan grounding. He'd already put the fear of god into me thru spanking my bare bottom, so I NEVER made it so he had to use physical force with me. BUT, AND I MEAN BUT, you can't just spank, you most COMBIND that with talking to them about it. THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! ITS EXTREMELY important that you convay your feelings to them honestly about it, and that they do it in return. It's not the spanking so much as HOW you spank, remember that, and always TRY and be calm.... and thats also extremely important... calm and cool, makes right in those emotional situations.....
