Planned Parenthood. There is a good reference here: http://www.plannedparenthood.org/birth-control-pregnancy/abortion-4260.htm It discusses history and more importantly the Risks and Side Effects.

Medical websites are the best for strictly technical info. I would take any info from Planned Parenthood with a grain of salt. Just as I would any info from National Right to life. I would recommend reading info from both groups and somewhere in the middle is the truth.

Not going to happen.
Any person or group against abortion (there are thousands of them) will lie to you outright, anything to stop what they see as an abomination.
Anyone pro-choice (planned parenthood and most doctors) will most likely give you the real facts and figures, but will totally avoid the important moral implications.
You're best bet is to hear from both sides, and compare with a large grain of salt, then make up your own mind.

David is right about Planned Parenthood. They are nationally recognized and can refer you to someone to talk to if there is not one in your hometown.
