I doubt it will be a sweep...these teams are more evenly matched than the division series were. I think the Rockies will win the first game 5-3. Overral, the Rockies take the series in 5.

AZ has been kept alive by, and I say this sparingly, FORTUNE. They are a young (no pun intended) team and really are fortunate to have caught the Cubs at the right time. The Rockies are full of veterans and are the hottest team in MLB right now. You have to believe they have a chance to win it all.. remember the White Sox a few years back? They really weren't that good, but they were streaking.. and you sort of have this tingling that this is the Rockies year....
Rocks 8-3 Game 1.
No sweep, Rocks in 5.

Score of first game might be 5-3 Dbacks, with Webb on the mound and the great relief pitching. But it is hard to predict. They are both great teams and both have been terrific in the post-season. It should be an excellent matchup. I sure don't see any sweep happening. I think the Dbacks will win in a close series. Of course it is no coincidence that I live in Arizona!

Both teams are playing well and either could win. Both are small payroll teams and I would love to see one or the other knock off the big boys, which I believe either could do. The Rockies have the hitting and the Diamondbacks have the pitching. There is a old saying that hitting can get you to the playoffs and pitching wins championships, which I have to agree. Diamondbacks in 7 games and they are on to the world series.

If it is a sweep (which i don't think it will be) the Rockies will sweep the D-backs........it should be a really good series......
I'm predicting the Rockies winning the series 3-2......
1st game-Rockies 6-3
2nd game-Rockies 9-8 in the 10th
3rd game-D-backs 5-2
4th game-D-backs 3-1
5th game-Rockies 13-12 in the 13th

Diamondbacks comeback is greater magnificent. The Cubs have been down by employing 9 runs in the previous this year and gained, so its no longer that uncommon a element, even although, scoring 6 runs interior the backside of the 9th to win 6-5 is amazingly inconceivable. I dont comprehend the stats of ways regularly it might take place, yet I assure the prospect of coming back from a 5 run defecit interior the 9th is way less possibly than scoring 9 runs over the direction of 5 innings.

The Rockies will win in 4 because they have a lot more offense and their pitching is decent enough to help them win. Matt Holliday will rock Brandon Webb and the other pitchers.
