I mean c'mon you give the entire Yankees roster twice as much as they should be getting. their more focussed on their money then their team supposedly. that team is missing heart or chemistry one or both of the two.

they're missing motivation, when you put together a bunch of extremely high paid basevall players, they need motivation, especially when they're already getting about 9 million in their rookie year, players need motivation, whether it's family, money, or popularity.

I'm no Yankees' fan but I'm not buying your argument. Heart and chemistry usually take a back seat to talent.
The Yankees have invested a lot of money in their starting pitching, and don't have much to show for it (Clemens, Mussina, Igawa, etc.) What does it say about Mussina that the Yankees are going back to Wang for tonight's game on three days rest? Plus, the middle relief has been dreary at times -- it's tough to predict who will do well in that role.
They probably should have saved a few bucks in the beginning of the season for a better bench, but that's a very good lineup 1-9 when it is healthy.

If you watch Yankee games on a daily basis you know they have heart and chemistry. You see Johnny Damon hanging out with Cabrera and A-Rod fooling around, Cabrera talking to Cano about baseball..Jeter telling the team a few things.
They have heart - much more than last year. They just need to preform in the postseason!

No heart? Um hello, they were 14 1/2 games out of first place and tied with the Devil Rays for last place!!! If they had no heart they would have folded and packed it in months ago. But yet here they are in the playoffs. They lost the first 2 games and yet again could have folded, but they went out there and won Game 3!! A team with no heart doesn't come back like that again and again.

yes they do get paid but thats not their focus, theyre focus is to win..and like everyone else they may not win every day. they have heart, there playing to keep torre.and if you listen to them they are very loyal and respectful to him. all of them have good chemistry they all get along..theyre not missing anything,, they have there ups and downs but every one does they just need to focus on the game and theyll be the team everyone expects them to be.

Yankees aren't going to win this series...they have been just pulling through so far. It doesn't seem like they want it as badly as they have in the past years!
How 'bout those Red Sox though...Swept the Angels. Next, it's the Indians (unless the Yankees are REALLY lucky!!)
