I took a First Response test two days before my missed period with my first pregnancy...and it showed positive. A friend of mine took a First Response test four days before her missed period with First Response and it too was positive!

If it's been two weeks since ovulation your test would show a positive result by now if you're pregnant. Tests like First Response can show positive results up to five days before a missed period. (I waited until two days before...since it depends on how much of the pregnancy hormone is in your system...I wanted to be 100% sure if I was pregnant or not!)

Good luck!!

If it has been 2 weeks since you were supposed to start you period, I would say that you are definatly okay to take a test. If it has been 2 weeks since you ovulated, you should be okay also, but I might wait a couple of days just to be sure. Good luck!

If you mean '2 weeks' since you've missed your period now is the time to test.
