The picture : The station of perpignan..I ve seen it in the Dali museum near Cadaquez, (near the french boarder)where he lived with his wife Gala in a beautiful house at the coast.
Life seems sometimes to be surrealistic...and Dali understood for example the illusion of time...symbolised in the flowing clocks...he painted oftenly...time...room...
total relativity....the falling man in the "gare du perpignion"
perhaps symbolised that our life is driven by many parameters we couldn't control...C.

I love to look at his art when I am feeling deflated. Its usually on a Sunday. Yup that's a good way of putting it, A deflated Sunday. Or when ever my husband starts to act up, everything in the house droops lifelessly yet keeps being what it is.
Great Question!!!

Well.. I don't have any melting clocks or burning giraffes hanging around, but I do have some extremely long-legged elephants roaming in my kitchen... And Abraham Lincoln's ghost stays in my 2nd bedroom all the time..

Everything is surreal,
I'm hanging in the air,
a butterfly in the desert,
off in another dimension,
of eccentric perspective,
the hands of time are melted.

Sorry, no.
More like the illustrations from Winnie-The-Pooh merged with Will Eisner.

He likes color...
I like black and white...
He's a surrealist...
I'm a rationalist...
He melts...
I burn...
He likes irregular...
I like perfect...
We both are a tad confusing to the novice...
And can only be understood by thinking outside of the box...
My ex-boyfriend, had both of our paintings...
Framed an hung on his bedroom wall...

He made some cool paintings, but I don't think I can compare my life to that.
