Any advice of how, where and when you can take cuttings off an overgrown rubber plant! Thanks!

You can take them at any time of the year.

Take the cutting and dip both points in dry sand to stop them from bleeding, then pot up into a well draining compost.

It would be very difficult to propagate from just leaves. For bettter success You would need t have some stems and the plant them in damp sand until they root.

the newest growth is the best you want at least 3 nodes(where the leaves come off)cut and under water,cut the bottom at a 45 degree angle and at your local plant store buy sum roottone its a hormone that aids in growing new roots

Rubber plant should be cut in the month of october, same as rose plants

cut bout 4leaves down stem from top of plant . cut diagonally cross stem just above a leave node,put cutting in jar of water and wait till stem produces roots then pot up in compost.

any time ,best doing a leaf cuttins ,just make a v cut from the stem up turn around then plant indoorsmisting a lot .

Prune, strip lower leaves, dip in rootone, place in potting soil. When you see new leaves, you have roots. Super easy. Can be done anytime.
