Both! After all, nothing is perfect. But Western Culture has an appreciation for education (a good thing) and the preservation of culture (also a good thing)... and we have increased health and wellbeing inside our own nations substantially. We have had negative effects however... such as the exploitation of less developed nations and large amounts of corruption and imperialism... as well as a lack of respect for the environment (which has improved over the past 100 years.. but we still have a ways to go).

P.S. When you say Western Culture, I assume Europe is included as well as the US and Canada.

P.P.S. Yeah.. I thought it was.. but I think some people just think of the "United States" when people say Western Culture and I just wanted to clarify that I was referring to more than that.

well... I would say positive... but I'm a member of western culture... so, I may be a bit bias...

but with the focus on education, science and democracy... it's pretty good...

of course there have been bad things, and all the good things we do aren't an excuse... and we should work on those bad things, but overall good...
