I do agree with you that is was no class what so ever (taunting like he did after), it was a cheep shot on the block but you do have to look at it from T. Johnsons side of the case, the do not want lineman going for a qbs knees so why should a be ok for a qb to go for a linemans knees? I also think he just acted out of emiotion with taunting but it was still wrong

Trent Green definately caused the contact by going low and he could have caused very serious injury to Johnson. In other words, Green gave himself a concussion by putting his head in the way of Johson's knee!
As far as the taunting, yea - a fine or whatever, but Johnson was rightfully pissed off and almost certainly didn't know Green was unconscious.

I guess I am in the minority here. As you said, Green's hit on Johnson was perfectly legal. In fact, one is taught to go low on a man if attempting to block a much bigger opponent.
The play was clearly over, and Green was clearly laying motionless when Johnson came over to talk trash.
I don't know that a suspension is necessarily warranted, but do think a fine is in order.

Johnson was not taunting Green. He was mad as all get out for Green chopping at his knees. As Mike Golic admitted this morning, most normal people would have been mad as well.

I just can't understand why so many people support old "scrambled brains" Green. What he did could easily have ended Johnsons' career. Just because he's a QB (and I use the term loosely when referring to Green) shouldn't cut him any slack. Green has been hit in the head too many times, he needs to retire.

I don't think he be suspended from the nfl because he didn't do anything bad like vick and all those others fools from the nfl. He might suspended by the team maybe but not by the nfl.

Goodell has been suspending people for breaking the law, not for being stupid, as Johnson was.
If Johnson was suspended for making stupid comments, Green should be suspended for diving headfirst at the knees of a large man running at full speed. Stupidity is stupidity.

I do not think he should be suspended just for being stupid. He did make some childish comments after the game, but he did come back and correct himself.

Aiming at the knees may be legal, but it looked pretty dirty to me. Yeah his taunting was just as classless, and that is why he was penalized.
