Where can I get help on this?


I am poor and can't afford an attorney against my former employer for a disability related lawsuit.

contact Legal Aid Society. They have lawyers for those like yourself that cannot afford to pay. These lawyers will do the work "pro bono", meaning "for the good of the public.

Because this is a CIVIL matter, legal aid is not allowed to represent you. You will need to find a contingency attorney specializing in disability practice.

This isn't hard to do and you can contact your state bar association for a list of such attorneys in your area. Set us a few interviews and select the one you feel most comfortable with.

They will most likely charge you a percentage of the award won (if you win).
