Now this is an interesting question *stars it*

One book? Oh, man. I really want to say Twilight, because the thought that a guy (well, vampire) like Edward Cullen is walking around on this earth would be a wonderful thing to know. But I'm going to go with Harry Potter instead, because the thought that there's a whole other world inside of our "normal" Earth is an even more wonderful thought. I mean, we're not getting anywhere with a world outside of Earth, are we? Ha. Plus the magic. Knowing that magic is real. The Harry Potter series gets so in-depth with the whole concept of magic and the world of magic that it's to hard not to believe. Plus it makes me wonder about where a School of Witchcraft and Wizardry would be located in America... and what it would be called. Probably something eagle-related. They were pretty patriotic back when America was first (officially) formed....

Definitely not Harry Potter...it would be cool to know that there was magic in the world, but the wizards' attitude towards muggles is too condescending.

I would have to say two books(actually series): the Chronicles of Narnia, and another series by C.S. Lewis, his space trilogy. If there was really an old, benevolent life on Mars, and a world just beginning on Venus...Not to mention the eldila.

This is going to sound pretty sick, but I almost wish The Zombie Survival Guide was for real. It's good to know that if zombies ever do try to take over Earth I'll be prepared.

It's actually a pretty awesome book. Anyone even slightly interested in horror movies should check this one out.

The Chronicles of Narnia. I've never really stopped secretly hoping that I'll stumble into another world someday.

Memorias de Idhún...(this book is in Spanish)
and in English...Pride and Prejudice (I'm a hopeless romantic) and, of course, why not...Harry Potter too.

all the good ones ARE true. they were made out of reallife experiences.
ok, alice in wonderland. but it's too creepy for me. children's literature is creepy. i mean the good kind. some fairy tales by Andersen too. very depressing. the baudelaire orphans.

Harry Potter. It would be nice to know that some magic exists somewhere in the world.
