I think Ganguly is the best ever captain of India. it is early to say about Dhoni. he needs a lot to prove. Dravid is a a great wall of Indian cricket but not a good captain.

Of course Dhoni is the best because of he India won the 20-
20 world cup, Ganguly is also excellent. Dravid's field placement is very bad.

Since Dhoni has taken over captaincy only recently, it will be quite unfair to compare his captaincy with Dravid and Ganguly. As of now Ganguly is the most successful captain in Indian cricket.

Kapil Dev- he won the worldcup for India and was a role model for previous generation.
MOhd Azharudin : Good talent in setting ground field.
Saurav Ganguly: Most successful captain of India by winning more games.
Sachin: In captainship he didnt success.But having good batting records.
Rahul Dravid: Couldnt handle the blaming and not taking self decisions.Rely on senior players and coach.
Dhoni: Good energy.Capability to handle the senior players.Unexpected win in worldcup.25 matches to go to weigh him.
So as per ur list its obviously Ganguly.
