It is true...You can not enter Greece since your passport is stamped by the nothern part.It is considered occupied area..
First it is a question of honour in Greece, second the state is not legal...

Edit:In case you need visa to come to Greece, the greek Embassy will not provide it to you since you have stamp from nothern Cyprus, since it is not a recognised state

Yes

If you wish to visit the Turkish occupied part of Cyprus then I suggest you place a clean sheet of paper in your passport and let them stamp that. Discard it when you leave. A Turkish stamp from northern Cyprus will bar you from the rest of the Island and Greece as well, including the Greek Islands.

If you are an EU citzen entrance in Greece cannot be forbiden (I guess). If you require a visa the Greek authorities might deny it if they see a Nothern cuprus stamp!!

so either do as Ian said or vist the north side by first entering the south!!!

For example if you are Serbian dont go directly to Famagusta (btw is there an aerport on the north side??) .

Land on Nicosia and go by car to Famagusta through the green Line!!

Ps where is the answer by cpinachi did someone report it?? And why??

OK i found it BTW her answer is RIGHT!!!

Jason is authentic. The occupied section, isn't recognized by employing any (no longer basically ecu) countr different than Turkey. in many cases, they get a stamp in a paper,, so as that they throw it after and bypass to different places.

I cant understand why you have to visit a place which is not recognised.
North part of Cyprus is not considered a free area, and you ll have problems in case you need a visa for Greece.

North Cyprus authorities do not stamp passports of foreigners just in case. Instead they stamp an official form of entry. But if you have an EU passport you just show it and enter, no stamps needed. You can now enter Cyprus from the south and visit or stay in the north, or vice versa. It is allowed under the Green Line Regulations of EU.
We do not want anybody to get into trouble with Greek or Greek Cypriot authorities.

edit. yes there are two airports in the north and some Greek Cypriots use them to visit Turkey.
edit: I don't know why some people got 'insulted' by my answer. I am just trying to give information. Why all the thumbsdowns???

No, this is not true. But you can't go to Greece directly from Northern Cyprus or with a northern Cyprus passport.

To "anlarm": I think it's because you're Turkish.
