This was a few years ago, but a good one anyway. When I was in boot camp I noticed pairs of recruits walking around that had 'complimentary' names. Like 'Rum' and 'Whiskey'. Or 'Locke' and 'Kee'.
This totally could've been some RDC (they're like Drill Sergeants, except Navy boot) with a weird sense of humor. It could also just be coincidence. However, I saw it a lot, so I don't think it was coincidence. At the time, I thought it might be a sign that boot camp was some sort of constructed reality. (It is, kind of.) I was thinking on a more spooky level, though.
It's worth noting that my time in boot camp ended a two or three year span of psychedelics.

The only synchronicity I am aware of is the swimming event and the Police album.

i don't know if this fits the description but i've noticed that a lot chevy silverados have common plate characters: 4HG9P3. i see them everywhere and I haven't noticed this with other makes and models of cars. they usually have at least 2 of the characters i mentioned above. it's probably not synchronicity, bu i notice it every single day.
