Don't go any shorter than your shoulders if you've had it that length for a while. I did the same thing, and at first, short hair was great, but after about a week I wanted my long hair back.

you cut it if you want .People will get use to it .I like long hair ,but I would like you the way you are if I knew you in person. I hope this makes since ????// short or long you are the one thats got to like it. If you cut it do it cause you want to,not because it will make someone else happy

NO! Mine used to be like that and I cut it above my shoulders and now I horribly regret it!!!
Just cut it about 3 or 4 inches below your shoulders that way it will be healthier and hopefully easier to manage.

i always loved having short hair, go for it if you're ready.
I just grew mine long for the first time in 12 years...i'm not ready yet...but someday soon i'm sure :)

its up to you...it depends on how short youmean, if you have had it long for a while, go slow with the cut...get it medium long, or medium.. i wouldn't go to far past your shoulders.....go in to the salon and see what ideas they have if you dont have one....sorry if i wasnt able to help ya enough.
