How did you feel about that? How did you feel about the texan DL talking $hit while he was down? He could have been paralized (he's not) but he could have been. How do you think that DL would have felt if his kid was playing and that happened and the guy that hit him was talking $hit like that? What can he say to defend his actions? Can he defend his actions? Is this racial? Will scoob and the gang solve the mystery of the haunted underwear? Who farted? Who's got the fever for the flavor of a pringle?

Good grief, people. Did anyone actually see the game? Johnson did not "taunt" Green; he was yelling at him because he was mad at being chop-blocked.

BTW poster, why not turn the questions around? How would Green have felt if he ended a guy's career by blowing out his knee?

Anyone notice the way Travis Johnson landed? He's lucky his neck wasn't snapped. How would anyone have felt about Trent Green laying there motionless if that block had ended Johnson's career?

That block was only barely legal. Given the angle Green had and the fact that they were behind the play he could have easily lowered his shoulder into Johnson, or even merely pushed him, to have taken him out of the play.

Every player in the NFL knows the risks of going low on a guy like that. That doesn't condone Johnson's actions following the play, but Green shouldn't come out of looking like an angel either.

While Greens block was bad, QBs are taught to go for the legs if blocking downfield. You can't really blame him too much. As for the DL talking sh**, that was just disgusting. You might feel that the block was dirty, but that gives him no right to do that to a motionless player. How would he have felt if Green was paralyzed, or worse dead??? I have rarely seen such poor sportsmanship. He should be ashamed...As you can tell, I am not using the DLs name because I don't think he has done anything in football worthy of recognition...

Are you suggesting that Trent Green, who's about one errantly lobbed beer can away from going Wayne Chrebet, would attack someone's knees with his HEAD? The guy's been rapped on the noggin more than twice, but I think he still has enough sense to remember that's where he keeps his brain.....

The Texan player should be fined and suspended 3 or 4 games...Looks to me like Trent Green slipped...not trying to lay a block on the lineman....

Go look at the play on youtube.com:

Green went for a low cut-block, putting his head in the way of Johnson's knee. Green gave himself this concussion!

As far as the taunting: Johnson was pissed after the cut-block; I can understand that and I don't think he knew Green was hurt.

As far as Johnson's post game comments: no class whatsoever. By that point in time he knew Green was out cold so he should have just kept his mouth shut.

It was a legal block, according to NFL rules.

The guy outweights Green by 100 lbs. The only way to get him down is go low.

Say what you will about it, Green's hit was classless, wrong, blah blah blah....but for a guy to stand over an unconscious player and yell at him, that's just low.

If I was a DL in the NFL, and some scronny little turd chop blocked me like that I would be furious. Trent Green could have seriously hurt that guy. You don't go spearing people in the legs. I don't like to see anyone with a head injury, but he got what he deserved on that play.

Pringles, underwear, and farting? Sam Sneed.

sad.
upset.
I'm sure he wouldnt have been happy.
His defense is that the block was cheap and certainly could have seriously injured him.
Ultimately, I'd say no since it was a legal hit by someone much smaller than him.
Doubtful.
Yes.
Not it.
You do.

I think that he was mad because Trent Green was trying to do a Cut block, which people think is kind of cheap. People are blaming him for Trent Green's concussion, so I guess he got kind of mad...
