I'm no fan of hers, but are you serious Rudy Giuliani beating Hillary Clinton? Does anyone honestly think that is going to happen?

He can't even carry his own state, hell.. his own daughter won't even vote for him.. shouldn't that be a red flag?
He already lied about how much time he spent on ground zero, then the firefighters are protesting him, he's been accused of racial profiling,

I realize that Hillary is polarizing and no I'm not voting for her.. but Giuliani has a pretty bad rep as it is.. His co chair said that "African Americans are retarted" many of his sponsors have already been charged with drug possession and prostitution... I know it's not Rudy that did these things, but you know what they say about the company you keep..
And what about the discontent with the war?
I hope the GOP can come up with something better than this

With all these scandals how can he be the "lesser of the two evils"
I don't understand where people came up with the idea he would win, he's already struggling to keep the lead in the GOP and Hillary been deemed "unstoppable"

Rudy could go up against a pile of leaves and he would still lose. I don't think a single individual in this country is stupid enough to vote for him. The only reason he is even running is so he can make more money off of the 9-11 disaster.

All the polls and blogs that I've seen have Hillary winning at this particular point in time, but you know politics. It's subject to change. Personally, I don't think Guiliani should be the Republican nominee. He's only on there because The World Trade Center just happened to be in New York City. If there had been no 9/11, Guiliani wouldn't even be a Conservative consideration. And if people think Bill Clinton had a woman problem, wait until they check out Guiliani's track record. Ha!

That's a compleling question. I think it is all in the eye of the beholder. And in most people's eyes, Rudy may not beat Hillary, but is the best chance for doing so.
Rudy is the hero of September 11th. Also, if you visit NYC, you will notice that it is clean and classy. Most people attribute that to Rudy. Most my family is from NY and N. Jersey. They love Rudy.
Unfortunately, most people don't do their homework. A lot of conservatives don't know about his multiple marriages and affair. They are unawre of his very liberal voting record.
We can only hope that people will become more informed as time goes on. More media coverage is needed. I have seen Fred Thompson on Leno several times. I have never seen Ron Paul, and I have only heard Tom Tancredo on the radio once.

They already voted for 2 womanizers (minimum) in the last century so why wouldn't Rudy win? the answer is because his scandulous reputation is already there in front of him. And Obama's name sounds like the terrorist that destroyed our precious World trade center. Romney is the wrong religion for this country at this time. Hillary at least has her issues out on the table as does Edwards when not worried about his hair. This will be the battle.

I believe that plain common sense tells us Rudy Kazootie would take Hilarity down. The dems are on dangerous grounds of being to divided and Hilarity should withdraw and let some new blood in before she ruins the party that's for the little guy entirely. KUCINICH AND PAUL in the fall.!!!!!

In order for that to even be a possibility, Giuliani would have to win the Republican nomination and I don't think most Repulicans would want him over some of the other candidates.
In my opinion, the only Republican who stands a chance of pulling any significant Democrat votes is John McCain. Unfortunately, he's probably too liberal to win the Republican nomination.

Thats what the polls indicate at this point in the election cycle. I certainly hope that HIllary is not even the nominee.
EDIT for additional details: I am not impressed by any of the current candidates from the major parties either. If you do not find anyone to vote for in the Dems or Reps. try another candidate. I realize that a third party probably would not win but it would send a strong message if all those who were sick of the two party system would vote for alternative candidates. Maybe it would help get better candidates next time.

Bring him on!
Or Thompson.
Romney.
McCain.
Or whoever.
People are slowly starting to question this 'hate campaign' against Hillary. Nobody can be THAT evil and left-wing.
(The wheels are coming off, Fox News!)
And, an added bonus will be having Bill back in the White House. It has a comforting ring to it.
Especially after the current incumbent.
