When Saddam Hussein was there. Despite the fact that Hussein was a cruel violent dictator, a monster, Middle Eastern Muslims need a dictator in order to maintain peace. The only way peace can be maintained in Arab or Persian countries is through a tough, violent, abusive and oppressive dictator. They need "Western Freedom" like a fish needs a bicycle.

You must provide far more data to your question so that it can be answered.
1. What was the Malnutittion rate in Iraq prior to 2001? Be sure that this number clearly represents those in the Bathist Party that lived above all others.
2. What was the education system like in Iraq prior to 2001? Again do not include the party in power.
3. No question about Oil here that I can see. So, I will ask? In what way is Cheney stealing the oil? If in fact the US is trying to steal the oil, What is taking so long? Why not get a bunch of Tankers, fill them up, and bring it all over here. It should be very simple.

Please provide this information without going off on a tangent about things that sound the same but are not answers to these questions. Simply supply facts. Not more questions and not stories about some terrible thing unrelated to anything here.

IAW the CBS information, women people have been greater effectual off under Saddam In-hussein. even although, in addition they made it very clean that the homosexuals have been greater effectual off under Saddam. the subject concerns isn't the government in Iraq (in the previous or because of the fact that) however the Muslim faith as practiced which demands women people to conceal their faces, and so on. and facilitates adult men to triumph over their different halves/toddlers. that's as much as the choose of the Iraqis; to alter, or shop on being the way they have been for hundreds of years.

You know what they say about opinions.

I say nobody seems to be gassing the Kurds, more people are going to school and the violence is decreasing. I suppose you'd prefer it if the death squads were operating again like they were under Saddam, and those two evil offspring of his were still raping and murdering children. Seems like some of you libs do prefer that kind of stuff anyway, and now you've admitted it.

It depends on who you are in Iraq.

The Kurds are infinitely better today than when Saddam was in power.

If you are a Baathist you are probably longing for the Saddam days.

I would say they are. Their was rampant poverty, malnutrition and the like under Saddam too. In fact the majority population were practically bottom feeders under Saddam. All of this violence we see today was always their under Saddam, he just contained it by being more brutal and efficient.
